Webinar: The Role of Pharmacist during COVID19 Pandemic

Thank you University of Indonesia for the invitation as one of the speaker for webinar on "The Role of Pharmacist during COVID19 Pandemic".  The main roles of pharmacists never changed that are to identify, to resolve and to prevent drug related problems. The major changes are promotion of public awareness related to COVID19 and its preventive measures, and extension of services to support social distancing and to minimise movements. The sharing session will cover the strategies and activities related to these changes.

Conference: Plenary Lecture: IRCPAS2020 Kuala Lumpur

Thank you to the organizing committee for the invitation to speak at the international conference.  The International Research Conference On Pharmaceutical and Allied Sciences (IRCPAS 2020) was mainly organized by the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, UCSI University.  The 45-minutes plenary lecture focused on Precision Medicine: Future Direction in Pharmacotherapeutics. Various pharmacogenetic and pharmacokinetic research findings from the Quality Management of Medicine Research Centre, at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia were used as the basis of the lecture.

Higher Education: Sharing Session in Schools of Pharmacy in Davao, the Philippines

Time well spend!  It was a great opportunity in Davao City to have several sharing sessions on clinical pharmacy practice at Brokenshire College, San Pedro College and Southern Philippines Medical Center. The main mission was to motivate the future pharmacists on effective delivery and impactful pharmaceutical care.  Thank you to Dr Erwin Faller for the coordinations.

Higher Education: International Sharing Session at University of the Immaculate Conception, Davao, the Philippines

Thank you to University of the Immaculate Conception, Davao for the invitation to deliver series of sharing sessions at the College of Pharmacy and Chemistry. The visiting professorship activities were scheduled between 10th and 17th February 2020. The topics for PhD programme were on Advanced Molecular Pharmacology and Advanced Pharmacotherapy: A Clinical Approach. UIC-CPC in collaboration with the Philippine Pharmacists Association-Davao City Chapter initiated a sharing session on two topics; the Extended Pharmacy Services and Quality Use of Medicine Research and Big Data Opportunities for Pharmacy Practitioners. Hopefully this collaboration will enhanced the academic partnership and pharmacist training between the two institutions and nations, UKM and UIC, Malaysia and the Philippines.
