It is my great pleasure to share a new innovation for T&L in the first ASEAN Pharmacy Distance Learning Symposium themed, ‘Challenges and Best Practices’, on 2nd of September 2021. In the current global pandemic, we are faced with extremely challenging times. The COVID-19 pandemic has changed our normal routines and standards, including our T&L methods in higher education.  This symposium was aimed to bring together the Faculty of Pharmacy UKM strategic partners from the Southeast Asia region, to build a stronger bond in our academic relations by sharing experiences in dealing with this change.  The symposium featured highly respected speakers representing each participating university, who shared and discussed strategies and approaches taken on managing education in each institution during this pandemic. Congratulations to Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram, fellow speakers, organizing committee, and thank you for the invitation.  Semoga kerjasama dapat berterusan.

Thank you University of Indonesia for the invitation as one of the speaker for webinar on "The Role of Pharmacist during COVID19 Pandemic".  The main roles of pharmacists never changed that are to identify, to resolve and to prevent drug related problems. The major changes are promotion of public awareness related to COVID19 and its preventive measures, and extension of services to support social distancing and to minimise movements. The sharing session will cover the strategies and activities related to these changes.

Thank you to the organizing committee for the invitation to speak at the international conference.  The International Research Conference On Pharmaceutical and Allied Sciences (IRCPAS 2020) was mainly organized by the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, UCSI University.  The 45-minutes plenary lecture focused on Precision Medicine: Future Direction in Pharmacotherapeutics. Various pharmacogenetic and pharmacokinetic research findings from the Quality Management of Medicine Research Centre, at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia were used as the basis of the lecture.
