Conference: The ASEAN Pharmacy Distance Learning Symposium

It is my great pleasure to share a new innovation for T&L in the first ASEAN Pharmacy Distance Learning Symposium themed, ‘Challenges and Best Practices’, on 2nd of September 2021.

In the current global pandemic, we are faced with extremely challenging times. The COVID-19 pandemic has changed our normal routines and standards, including our T&L methods in higher education.

This symposium was aimed to bring together the Faculty of Pharmacy UKM strategic partners from the Southeast Asia region, to build a stronger bond in our academic relations by sharing experiences in dealing with this change.

The symposium featured highly respected speakers representing each participating university, who shared and discussed strategies and approaches taken on managing education in each institution during this pandemic. This effort helps us to rise together towards excellence. The symposium was attended by more that 150 participants from various ASEAN countries.

The ASEAN Pharmacy Distance Learning Symposium 2021 was a memorable event!
