Higher Education: The Malaysian Rethinking and Redesigning of Higher Education Award 2017

The Malaysian Rethinking and Redesigning of Higher Education Award (APRS, or renamed to AKRI) is granted to the best innovations in teaching and learning practice. Immersive Learning in Clinical Pharmacy Practice that is one of the teaching innovations utilised at the Faculty of Pharmacy UKM was granted the 1st Runner Up for the award. This is the second award granted to my portfolio in 2017. Thank you for all the supports and wishes.

T&L: Collaboration Online International Learning (COIL) between Faculty of Pharmacy UKM and Department of Pharmacy, San Pedro College Davao

The 1st session of COIL between FoP UKM and DoP SPC focused on clinical pharmacokinetics and medication review. The session was engaging with active participation from students and facilitators. Hopefully, this COIL will be extended for other topics. COIL is a virtual experiences that are embedded into the formal curriculum and provide students with an opportunity to interact with peers at international universities for them to develop intercultural competences and digital skills while working together on specific learning tasks. There are four key elements that define any COIL project: It involves a cross-border collaboration with students from different backgrounds and cultures. Students must engage in some sort of online interaction, either asynchronous or synchronous. It must be driven by a set of internationalised learning outcomes There must be a reflective component. Academic Journal: Template To Prepare Manuscript for Original Research Article

The common issues among students in writing a research article are "how to start?", "what is the flow of writing?" and "what is the format?". A generic template for a draft of research article can be used as a guide for the initial writing of an article. Then the draft can be further polished with your research senior or supervisor prior to submission. The linked 'Template' is a read only in google doc and can be saved/downloaded prior to usage.
